ENHANCEMENT OF POWER TRANSFER CAPABILITY IN A LONG
TRANSMISSION LINE USING SERIES FACTS DEVICE
Dr.M.Karthikeyan
Abstract:
Optimal placement of series FACTS device plays a vital
role in improving the Power Transfer Capability and also
to control the power flow of an existing long
transmission line. This paper employs the Thyristor
Controlled Series Compensation (TCSC) based series
device for the control of the power flow in long distance
transmission line. The proposed device is used in different
locations such as sending end, middle and receiving end
of the different lengths of the transmission line. PI
controller is employed in each operating mode. The firing
circuit engages three single-phase PLL units for
synchronization along with the line current. Simulations
are carried out using MATLAB Simulink environment.
The suitable location and the performance of the
proposed model are examined and compared with and
without compensation. This proposed device is tested
under the different lengths like 100km to 400km. In every
increment of 100km, the impedance, real power and
reactive power are noted and tabulated. The results
reveals that the power transfer capability at the sending
end of the transmission line is sound better when
compared with the other ends and also the power flow is

FREE CONVECTIVE MHD FLOW OF A VISCO-ELASTIC FLUID
PAST A VERTICAL POROUS PLATE THROUGH A POROUS
MEDIUM WITH CONSTANT SUCTION AND HEAT SOURCE
Hridi Ranjan Deb
Abstract:
The hydromagnetic free convective flow of a visco-elastic
electrically conducting fluid past a vertical porous plate
through a porous medium with constant suction and heat
source in presence of transverse magnetic field has been
studied. The induced magnetic field and Joulean heat
dissipation are neglected in this problem. Also,
Boussinesq approximation has been used to find the
governing equations of the flow field in presence of
energy dissipation. The governing equations are solved
by using multi parameter-perturbation technique. The
analytical expressions for the velocity, temperature fields
shearing stress, the rate of heat transfer at the plates in
terms of Nusselt number have been obtained. The effects
of visco-elastic parameter, on the velocity, Nusselt
number, and shearing stress have been illustrated
graphically, in combination with other flow parameters
involved in the solution. The problem has some relevance
in the geophysical and astrophysical studies

SEQUENCE-SCHEDULE OF AN INTERACTIVE G-CAPP FOR 2.5D
PRISMATIC PART USING MATHEMATICAL AND SIMULATION
APPROACH
Dr Viswa Mohan Pedagopu
Abstract:
This paper reports on the development of 3’C-CAPP for an
interactive-generative computer-aided process planning
system for 2.5D part machining. However, the input details are
obtained from a 3’CAM technique. Sequencing has been
implemented based on operations. The operations like drilling
and circular interpolation and corner milling can be identified
automatically as for the order of operational preference given
to a feature. Further, a scheduling based on a drill; mill (End)
and mill (corner) have been developed for optimizing the time.
However, a single sequencing and scheduling is perhaps not
sufficient for all operations in all situations. So, there must be
a change manufacturing environment with the multiple
objectives number of operations, time consideration for each
operation for optimization in tool and parameters change.
Most of the works were carried out in determining the
operation sequence on a single milling machine that can be
extended to multi machines. The selection of efficient
machining parameters is of great concern in manufacturing
industries. The program has been developed by .Net software
at backend and Visual Studio IDE at the front end.

A NEAR-RING N IN WHICH EVERY N-SUBGROUP IS AN IDEAL
Dr.G. Sugantha
Abstract:
In this paper we introduce the concept of near-rings in which
every N-subgroup is an ideal. In [5], S. Suryanarayanan and
R. Balakrishnan investigated a near-ring N in which every N-subgroup is invariant. Motivated by this concept, we probe into
the properties of a near-ring N where every N-subgroup is an
ideal. We discuss the properties of this newly introduced
structure, and furnish a characterization and prove that all
principal ideals with mate functions is a distributive lattice

Abstract:
The main purpose of this paper is to elevate the need of automotive industry in
the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia [FDRE]. However, the
importances of automobile vehicles are being demanded, unfortunately the
contribution of the automotive sector has not been focused to a great extent.
Obviously, increase of auto-industry plays an important role in increase of
any national economy. In addition it plays a significant role in increase
employability, in trade; in transport etc. The FDRE is being done much in
trade sector not in manufacture sector of automotive vehicles and spare parts
that directly impinge on country’s economy. Regrettably, the automotive
sector is being downgraded and has been neglected in several states of
Ethiopia by various reasons. This technical paper presents the various factors
effecting the growth of automotive industry Ethiopia along with plan,
suggestion, improvement; damage control exercises, the agencies sense of
duty includes Government Policies, human resources capacity, Public
Purchase ability, Shortage of capital, Road conditions and limitations.
Finally, some implications have been submitted for the smooth utility of
automotive industry.

FINITELY GENERATED GENERALIZED RIGHT ALTERNATIVE
RINGS
C. Manjula
Abstract:
We show that weakening the hypothesis of right alternative to the three
identities.
𝑤𝑥, 𝑦, 𝑧 + 𝑤, 𝑥, 𝑦, 𝑧 = 𝑤 𝑥, 𝑦, 𝑧 + 𝑤, 𝑦, 𝑧 𝑥 = 0 … 1
𝑥, 𝑥, 𝑥 = 0 … 2
And 𝑥, 𝑦 , 𝑦, 𝑦 = 0 … 3
for all 𝑤, 𝑥, 𝑦, 𝑧in the ring R will not lead to any new simple rings. In fact we show a semi
prime finitely generated generalized right alternative ring is right alternative. We also
show that if R is a prime finitelygenerated generalized right alternative ring of char.≠
2,3.Then we show that nucleus is equal to the commutative center.

A REVIEW ON PROCESSING OF POLYMER MATRIX
COMPOSITES: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
Vandna
Abstract:
The polymer matrix composites (PMCs) are gaining popularity among automobile, aircraft
and medical sector due to their promising role in manufacturing of light weight and high
strength components. The wide varieties of polymers are used as matrix materials in
combination with ceramics, carbon and synthetic fibers to fabricate polymer matrix
composites. This paper makes an attempt to discuss the various polymeric materials used
that can be used as matrix in PMCs and also focuses on their processing techniques in
respect to the area of their use. The processing environment of the polymer based
composites plays significant in deciding the mechanical and physical properties of the
composites. The addition of certain additives like fillers, plasticizers, colorants and flame
retardants during the processing can improve tensile and compressive strength, abrasion
resistance and dimensional stability. Later the challenges in manufacturing of PMCs have
been discussed with scope of opportunities available in the global market.

The Concept of Weakly Regular Rings
Dr. Manoj Kumar
Abstract:
The concept of weakly regular rings were exclusively studied by Kovacs, Brown &
McCoy, Ramamurthy, Camilo & Xiao & others, generalizes a property of regular rings.
Characterization of weakly regular ring by Ramamurthy has found in theorem we find that
a regular ring in right weakly regular. The theorem is a generalized properties of a right
weakly regular rings. A ring which is both-left and right weakly regular is called weakly
regular. For right artinian rings, right weak regularity is equivalent to regularity and
biregularity.

SOLVENT EFFECT ON THE ENTHALPY AND ENTROPY OF ACTIVATION
FOR CINNAATE IN MIXED SOLVENT SYSTEM
ASHUTOSH ABHAY
Abstract:
The concern for the presence of a wide variety of contaminants in the environment calls for
development and assemblage of information about their behavioral characteristics so that
appropriate strategies can be adopted to either prevent or minimize their adverse impacts on
human welfare and natural resources. This information is especially warranted for toxic
chemicals that persist for extended periods of time in the environment. When chemicals enter the
environment, they are usually not confined to a specific location but rather are in dynamic
motion either within a medium or across the adjacent media. The propensity for a contaminant
to move into and distribute itself between the media (or phases) is determined by its physical and
chemical properties and environmental factors and variable. The rate of alkaline hydrolysis of
ethyl cinnamate was measured over the temperature range of 40°C to 80°C in water-acetone
mixture at different composition 20 to 60% (v/v). The influence of solvent variation on reaction
rate was examined in term of changes in the Activation parameter. Depletion of ∆H* and ∆S*
value with simultaneous increase in ∆G* of the reaction in reaction media, reveals that the
reaction is Enthalpy domination and Entropy controlled. The Iso- dielectric activation energy
(ED) of reaction was found to decrease from 55.43 to 45.28. The Values of Iso-kinetic
Temperature which is less than 400, clearly indicates that there is no appreciable interaction
between solvent and solute present in the reaction media, i.e., reaction is not ion-dipole but ion-molecule type.

IMPORTANCE OF BOUNDRY LAYER THEORY IN MATHEMATICS
Dr. Shivkumar Biradar
Abstract:
Computation of the boundary layer parameters relies upon the game plan of equations
procured from the Navier–Feeds equations for viscous fluid motion, which are
introductory broadly unraveled considering the slimness of the boundary layer.
The course of action suggested by L. Prandtl is essentially the essential term of power
game plan improvement of the Navier–Blends equation, the course of action augmentation
being performed for powers of dimensionless boundary (δ/L). The smaller boundary in this
term is in zero power with the objective that the boundary layer equation is the zero
supposition in an Asymptotic Turn of events (wherever Re) of the boundary layer equation
(asymptotic course of action). The current paper highlights the importance of boundary
layer theory

SCOPE OF ROBOTICS IN INDIA
Dr. Niteshkumar
Abstract:
Robotics is the intersection of engineering and science that incorporates mechanical
engineering, electrical engineering, computer science additionally it is not any more an
arising field as it has advanced such a huge amount over the most recent 10 years and it is
approaching a zenith point .It is a steadily developing field and numerous roads have
opened up in ongoing past. The guarantee of robotics is not difficult to portray yet difficult
for the brain to get a handle on.
A robot is a mechanical or virtual intelligent specialist that can perform errands naturally
or with direction, regularly by remote control. Practically speaking a robot is normally an
electro-mechanical machine that is directed by computer and electronic programming.
Robots hold the guarantee of moving and changing materials no sweat as a computer
program changes data. Yet, the dim spot stays wide with regards to Exploration
mindfulness in the field of Robotics and Automation.

STUDY OF CONJUGATE GRADIENT METHOD FOR SYSTEM OF LINEAR
EQUATIONS USING PRECONDITIONING
Asha C. S.
Abstract:
System of linear equations are solved either by direct methods which yield exact solution
or by iterative methods which gives an approximation solution. In computational
mathematics, iterative proccess plays a vital role that uses an initial guess to determine the
approximation solution of any given problem. [7, 9, 10]There are several methods to solve
system of linear and nonlinear equations, such as iterative methods, approximation
methods, elimination methods and interpolation methods[13, 16, 17]. In this paper we use
Conjugate Gradient Method to solve system of linear equations, as this is one of the most
popular and well known iterative techniques for solving sparse symmetric positive definite
systems of linear equations[24]. In particular, we discuss about pure conjugate gradient
method and preconditioned conjugate gradient method. Numerical examples are shown for
each method and comparison of these method is done based on the number of iterations
and faster convergence. Thus we observe that the preconditioned conjugate gradient
method is more preferred when the system is large because it gives less number of
iterations and converge faster.
