Effective ways of teaching History in Higher Education
Manoj Kumar
Abstract:
Effective History teaching remains a major concern for most of History teachers. This is because most of history teachers do not adopt appropriate methods in teaching history.Because of this, students describe history as a boring and monotonous subject. There is usually a complaint against the teaching of history that past events are narrated in it, dates are often mentioned as a result of which the teaching becomes very dry and insolent. Because since ancient times, the teacher taught the subject of history orally which kept the student as a passive listener, but due to modern teaching being student centered, the latest tools and methods can be used to make history teaching more simple and effective. So that students can increase their interest in history. It is a pleasure to teach and learn history. Arts, science, technology, economic, and social perspectives are all part of history. The roots of every subject are hidden in history. All these together make history an independent subject. This is why history is often called the queen or mother of social sciences. This article presents a vision to improve history teaching in higher education and talks about finding the best strategies in the classroom for an effective teaching and learning.

Gauri Narain Mathur
Abstract:
The 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly revolved around the central theme of Sustainable Development Goals directed at attaining poverty and hunger ridden world; premised upon a healthy environment, peace, prosperity, partnership for the present as well as future generations. In this context one should ponder upon the thirteenth Sustainable Development Goal that focuses on the issue of Climate Change which in turn reflects a grave danger to the process of development. Climate Change exercises a disproportionate influence by burdening the poorest and least developed nation states. This calls upon the requirement of an immediate action to be undertaken by the international community which can act as a catalyst in terms of minimizing its impact and the disruptions caused. Climate change has by and large aggravated the natural disasters wherein it has been reported that an estimate around 1.6 million suffered death from 1990 to 2013. As a consequence of this, most of the nation states have more or less opted for national as well as local disaster reduction strategies

They were compulsive to the lowest situation in the guild because of some conventional rules. The Hindu segment of the Indian guild has through the ages memorialized the hierarchical order of species and sub-species provide privilege upon the so-called NSCs and negate the same to the scheduled castes. But the styles life of non scheduled castes (upper castes) high castes people exploited and exploited caste groups, and sub-groups.
